What is Clinical Psychology?
A Clinical Psychologist in the NDIS field provides crucial psychological support to individuals with disabilities. They diagnose cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges through comprehensive assessments and offer therapies such as CBT and psychotherapy to improve mental health and functioning. Collaborating with clients, families, and support networks, they develop behavior support plans and enhance skills such as resilience and social coping.
Working with interdisciplinary teams, they ensure holistic care plans and support families in aiding their loved ones. Through research and advocacy, they advance knowledge and promote better services within the NDIS, enhancing overall well-being for their clients.
